Konttainen & Basecamp (166 km, 83 km, 55 km, 34 km)
These stations serve banana slices, satsumas, generous amounts of Finnish-made Oikia chips, Herkkumaa pickled cucumbers, and sweet treats. The main chocolate option is Panda’s Ahaa pralines, with Brunberg’s lactose-free milk chocolate as an alternative – and handmade marmalade from the same candy factory for those allergic to chocolate.
Beverages include water and NOSHT sports drink.
Oulanka (83 km and 166 km)
Servings include Oikia chips, Herkkumaa pickles, banana slices, satsumas, and the same chocolate options as above – Panda, Brunberg, and marmalade.
Also available: hot Feelia sweet potato soup (L, G, V). Hot water is available for those with their own meals or drinks.
Beverages: NOSHT sports drink, water, tea, coffee, non-alcoholic Crisp beer from Sinebrychoff, and Coca-Cola.
Arctic Circle halfway stop (166 km)
Midpoint highlights: cheese pizza, rice porridge, Lapland-style game soup, vegan soup, bread, bananas, satsumas, chips, chocolate (Panda, Brunberg), pickled cucumbers – and again, marmalade for allergies. Hot water is also available.
Drinks include NOSHT sports drink, water, Crisp Radler, Coca-Cola, coffee, and tea.
Juhannuskallio (13 km)
This station serves 13 km runners twice along the trail. On the menu: Oatis sea salt and sour cream oat snacks, banana slices, satsumas, sliced cucumber, Panda Ahaa chocolates, Brunberg alternatives, and marmalade for allergies.
Beverages: NOSHT sports drink and water.
Finish line servings
At the finish, runners can enjoy tasty Feelia soups (meat or vegan lentil), banana slices, and Oatis sea salt oat snacks.
Drinks: Sinebrychoff Crisp Radler (Sitrus or Mango Passion), NOSHT sports drink, and water.
Special diets and allergens
We aim to accommodate gluten-free, lactose-free, vegan, and chocolate-allergic participants at every aid station. Brunberg’s lactose-free milk chocolate is a safe bet for many, while their marmalade works great for vegans and chocolate-sensitive runners. Oikia chips are naturally free of gluten and lactose, and vegan-friendly. Ingredient details are available on-site – just ask!
A few fun facts and reminders
Please bring your own cup – no disposable cups are provided at aid stations.
About those green marmalade balls… Some folks may wonder why they’re missing. We didn’t get a delivery confirmation from Fazer in time, so we went with Brunberg’s marmalade – and trust us, the taste won’t disappoint!
We reserve the right to change serving details as needed. Based on past years, it’s wise to be prepared for small changes. Questions? Feel free to email us.
From an organizer’s perspective: we’ve once again ordered citrus fruits based on seasonal availability from our grocery partners. What ends up on the tables might be satsumas, mandarins, or clementines – come see what we got!
